Canandaigua just landed a new wood-fired pizza restaurant as Ardor Park Artisanal Pizza opened downtown, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The Main Street shop features an open kitchen where diners can watch pizzas cook in a blazing wood-fired oven.
The new location marks the second restaurant for owner Kody Derhak, who also runs Ardor Park in Rochester. The menu blends classic pies with more adventurous options, including hot honey, jalapeños, fire-roasted pineapple, and vegan and gluten-free choices.
The restaurant encourages walk-ins and plans to rotate pizzas as chefs experiment with new flavors.
