CBS Sunday Morning: The Enduring Message of It’s A Wonderful Life & Seneca Falls (video)

Seneca Falls and the Seneca County town’s connection to the Frank Capra holiday classic ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ was featured on CBS Sunday Morning this week.

Senior contributor Ted Koppel visits Seneca Falls for last weekend’s It’s A Wonderful Life Festival. His video feature which ran this morning on CBS asks the question, “Is civility still alive in Seneca Falls?”. Koppel talks with residents, visitors, and two of the film’s surviving actors, who explain why a 79-year-old movie that celebrates smalltown virtues and happy endings still has such a hold on our imagination – while holding a mirror up to our own times.
