The Orange (7-4) are coming off a 76-62 bounce-back win over Mercyhurst that improved their home record to 7-1. Syracuse has thrived on Jim Boeheim Court, holding opponents to 63.8 points per game over its last four home contests while asserting itself defensively and in the paint. The Orange are averaging eight blocks per game during the homestand and poured in 46 points in the paint against Mercyhurst. Senior William Kyle III has led that effort, tallying 19 blocks over his last four games and 37 on the season, the second-best per-game mark nationally. Kyle III has also scored in double figures in each home game and recorded his third double-double of the year last week. Senior J.J. Starling has delivered eight consecutive double-digit scoring performances, while Nate Kingz has averaged 12.5 points over his last four outings. Freshmen Sadiq White Jr. and Kiyan Anthony combined for 25 points in Wednesday’s win.
