New tasting pass circles Seneca Lake

Wine and beer fans now have a new reason to explore Seneca Lake this winter.

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail and the Seneca Lake Order of Brewers have launched the Sips and Suds Tasting Pass, a joint effort that highlights the region’s wineries and craft breweries in one experience.

The new pass brings together 18 wineries and 13 breweries located around Seneca Lake. It runs for the entire month of January 2026 and costs $35.

Pass holders receive 50% off a tasting, flight, glass of wine, or pint of beer at every participating location. Organizers say the goal is to make it easier to try new producers, return to favorites, and explore more of the lake in one trip.

The pass also includes a game-style prize program. As visitors check in at participating wineries and breweries, they unlock locations and qualify for giveaways. Visiting more stops leads to bigger rewards.

The experience builds toward a grand prize drawing at each achievement level for completing clusters of wineries and breweries around the lake.

“This collaboration brings together two of Seneca Lake’s greatest strengths—world-class wine and exceptional craft beer,” said Brittany Gibson from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.

Derek Edinger from the Seneca Lake Order of Brewers added, “The Tasting Pass celebrates the passion and creativity of our member businesses while giving visitors a fun, flexible, and rewarding way to explore Seneca Lake.”

The Sips and Suds Tasting Pass is now available for purchase at participating wineries and breweries around Seneca Lake. Organizers say it’s designed for both longtime fans of the region and first-time visitors looking for a fresh way to experience the local craft beverage scene.
