Ontario County residents will see short-term closures at the County Clerk’s Office as officials roll out a major software upgrade.
The office will close to the public starting at noon Wednesday, Dec. 31, and will remain closed all day Friday, Jan. 2, and Monday, Jan. 5.
County Clerk Jean Chrisman said the temporary shutdown allows staff to complete the transition to a new system. The upgrade aims to improve efficiency and strengthen document management.
Officials said the changes will lead to better service for residents and businesses across Ontario County.
Normal recording operations will resume Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 8:30 a.m.
