A new agreement promises an easier, cheaper route to a bachelor’s degree for Corning Community College students, according to WENY. CCC graduates now get guaranteed admission to Commonwealth University campuses in Mansfield, Lock Haven, or Bloomsburg.
The deal lets students transfer in as juniors, cutting delays and credit losses. Officials say the partnership removes barriers and speeds up the path to a four-year degree.
Students can also qualify for merit scholarships worth up to $4,500 a year. Residential students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher qualify for the top awards.
CCC already runs a similar transfer partnership with Elmira College, launched last year.
