A parking lot fight after a high school basketball game turned more complicated than first reported, according to WIVT/WBGH. Video showed teenagers brawling outside Union-Endicott High School after a U-E vs. Ithaca game, with some attackers identified as Binghamton varsity basketball players.
Binghamton City School District now says that fight followed an earlier incident where its students were attacked. Sources say four U-E students jumped two Binghamton JV players after the junior varsity game, prompting varsity players to step in.
Endicott Police continue to investigate. Only one student suffered a minor injury. Union-Endicott also revised its statement, removing an earlier claim that no U-E students were involved.
