After three decades on Bennett Street, a longtime Hornell veterinary clinic is packing up and expanding, according to the Hornell Evening Tribune. Affordable Veterinary Service closed its old office Dec. 19 and will reopen Jan. 5 at a larger space on Seneca Street.
The new location at 181 Seneca St. offers a bigger waiting room and multiple exam rooms, giving the practice room to grow. The clinic says the added space could allow new clients in the future, though no timeline is set.
Founded in 1996, Affordable Veterinary Service employs six people and treats both companion and exotic pets. City development leaders welcomed the move as a boost for downtown Hornell.
