A downtown Geneva arts hub just scored new state funding, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The Dove Block Project received a $15,000 grant from the New York State Council on the Arts as part of a massive statewide funding push.
The grant supports the community arts center’s free exhibitions, workshops, films, and events. The Dove plans to use the funding to continue employing a part-time arts administrator as programming expands.
The organization enters its fifth season in 2026 after growing attendance and partnerships across the Finger Lakes. Leaders say volunteers, members, and state support continue to fuel the center’s momentum.
