Cayuga County seeks input on services

County leaders want residents to weigh in on emergency response, utilities, and other public services as planning moves forward, according to The Citizen. Cayuga County launched its third public survey tied to its first countywide strategic plan since 1969.

The survey focuses on how well public services meet community needs and where gaps exist. Officials say responses will guide future investments and recommendations.

The survey opened Dec. 12 and runs through Feb. 9, 2026. The planning effort, backed by a $103,500 state grant, began in July and follows earlier surveys on identity and quality of life.
