The man accused of a deadly shooting at Brown University is no longer at large, according to the Associated Press. Authorities say the suspect was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a New Hampshire storage facility.
Police later identified the man as a former Brown student and say investigators believe he acted alone. Officials link him to the mass shooting at Brown that killed two people and wounded nine, as well as the fatal shooting of an MIT professor days later near Boston.
Federal and state officials say the investigation remains active as they work to determine motive. Brown and MIT leaders both expressed grief as the academic community mourns the victims.
