New York will take over three rights of way in Auburn to support upcoming road improvement projects, according to The Citizen.
The state plans to repave and upgrade the Arterial and Grant Avenue starting in 2026. To do so, it will acquire small parcels at 145 Grant Ave., 204 North St., and 2 Standart Ave.—two of which were part of a recent intersection widening. The total payment to the city is $6,180.
Auburn City Council will vote on the agreement Thursday.
