Livingston County residents can now order trees and shrubs for spring planting through a long-running conservation program.
The Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting orders for its Conservation Tree and Shrub Seedling Program. The program offers seedlings to help protect and promote natural resources across the county .
Orders are due by March 20. The district will fill orders on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pickup dates and location
Customers can pick up their orders behind the County Highway Department at 4389 Gypsy Lane in Groveland.
Pickup runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 17. A second pickup window runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 19.

Order forms must be mailed to the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District, P.O. Box 453, Geneseo, N.Y. 14454.
The district also offers planting instructions and best practices upon request. Residents can download the order form online or call or text 585-489-6274 for more information .
