Two unfinished development sites in Geneva are at risk of foreclosure due to unpaid taxes, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Lake’s Edge, a once $25 million hotel and townhome project on Lochland Road, owes over $63,000 in taxes and faces liens and a separate foreclosure over a $1.2 million loan. City officials expect the tax bill will be paid before the May 2026 deadline.
Meanwhile, Trinity Church Inn developer Mark McGroarty, who owes $39,000 in taxes, says he plans to pay this week and is in talks with potential buyers.
