Police arrested a Palmyra woman after responding to a reported disturbance at a Phelps Street address.
Officers arrested Fawn Wright, 56, around 5:57 p.m. Dec. 7 following an investigation into the incident.
Police said Wright struck a 16-year-old in the head multiple times, causing physical injury. Authorities charged her with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Officers transported Wright to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
