Dairy Queen is making a comeback in Ithaca with a new Grill & Chill location on Elmira Road, according to The Ithaca Voice.
The restaurant is moving into the former Tim Horton’s and Cold Stone Creamery building next to KFC. Renovations are nearly finished, with electronic menu boards already lit and job postings online. The Patel family of Corning, known for hotel franchises, owns the property and secured a $1 million loan for the project.
There’s no official opening date yet, but the new location will feature a drive-thru and outdoor seating.
