Deputies arrested a man early Friday after a burglary set off an alarm at a Dollar General store in Williamson.
Deputies found 52-year-old Travis J. Breedlove of Williamson at the store on State Route 104 when they arrived around 2:59 a.m.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Breedlove ran from deputies and fled into a nearby wooded area. Deputies chased him and took him into custody a short distance away.
Investigators determined Breedlove stole several packs of cigarettes from the store.
Deputies charged him with burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief in the third degree, both felonies. He also faces a petit larceny misdemeanor charge.
Deputies processed Breedlove and brought him before CAPS Court for arraignment.
