Newark man charged with felony offense in Romulus

A Newark man is facing a felony charge after deputies say he was caught driving with a revoked license in the Town of Romulus.

According to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson, 39-year-old Joseph C. Lamb was arrested around 6 a.m. on December 10 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, a felony offense.

Deputies responded to a complaint and found Lamb behind the wheel despite having his driving privileges revoked due to multiple prior offenses.

Lamb was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Romulus Court on January 23 at 10 a.m. to answer the charge.
