The Penn Yan Police Department has promoted Officer Tyler Brzezinski to the rank of sergeant.
Sgt. Brzezinski joined the department in 2021 after graduating from the Alfred State Police Academy.
He’s a 2017 graduate of Haverling High School in Bath and later attended Corning Community College and Saint Bonaventure University.
Since joining the force, Brzezinski has been an active and valued member of the department.
Officials say he’s proven to be an asset both to the office and the wider Penn Yan community.
