State Police have identified the woman found dead near railroad tracks in Cortlandville as 59-year-old Robin Bowman of Findlay, Ohio.
Investigators say it’s still unclear why Bowman was in the area, but they believe she drove to Cortland. Her exact cause of death has not been determined.
Bowman’s body was discovered around 9 a.m. on November 25, near Pall Trinity along State Route 281. A passerby spotted her and called 911.
The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
