After 25 years of local ownership, Ithaca Agway Ace Hardware has been sold to the Aubuchon Company, according to Tompkins Weekly.
Owners Andy and Marna Boerman are handing over operations but say the full team — including their daughter Maddie — will remain. The store will keep its name and continue serving the community under Aubuchon, which now owns 133 stores across 11 states.
The sale is set to close on Dec. 18.
