About 50 Watkins Glen High School students formed a human chain Tuesday to unload a truck packed with gifts for the Seneca Santa program, according to organizers. Despite the brutal wind chill, the students kept up their annual tradition.
The presents—games, stuffed animals, and more—were delivered to the First Presbyterian Church, where they’ll be sorted for 202 children from 91 families in need.
The gifts are purchased wholesale from Hesselson’s and distributed just before Christmas.
