Hobart College will host a special day of basketball on January 3, featuring a scrimmage against Onondaga Community College followed by a free clinic for kids in grades 3 through 8.
The scrimmage tips off at 2:00 p.m., giving fans a chance to catch Hobart and Onondaga CC in preseason action. After the game, boys and girls from the community are invited to take part in a free basketball clinic starting at 4:45 p.m.
The event is open to all students in grades 3 through 8, and no registration fee is required. It’s a chance for young athletes to get on the court, learn new skills, and interact with college players and coaches.
Organizers hope the event will build excitement for local basketball while providing kids with an opportunity to grow their game in a fun and supportive setting.
