The Village of Bath is getting a $1 million state grant to replace its aging heavy rescue truck, according to WENY. The current vehicle, in service since 2001, is outdated and tough to maintain.
Fire Chief Michael Fiordo says the new truck will boost response to major crashes, water rescues, and emergencies across Bath and nearby towns like Avoca and Savona.
There’s no set delivery date yet, but the department hopes to have the new truck by 2029.
