A 21-year-old pastry chef from Ithaca made her national TV debut on Food Network’s “Holiday Baking Championship,” according to NY Upstate.
Violet Zoner appeared in the first three episodes of Season 12, showcasing her buttercream-focused baking style. Though her run ended early, she plans to keep baking professionally in Brooklyn next year. Zoner started baking as a kid, launched her @violetbakestoomuch Instagram in middle school, and trained at the Culinary Institute of America.
Her favorite Upstate treat? Hot cider doughnuts from Indian Creek Farm, just outside her hometown.
