Families packed The Bucket Bar & Grill in Odessa Saturday morning for “Breakfast with Santa,” raising over $900 for a growing local food pantry, according to the event organizers.
The fundraiser, hosted by bar owner Erick Thorpe, supports Kristine Gardner’s Wellness Warehouse, which opened in September behind the Odessa Village Office.
The pantry has seen a sharp rise in demand — from 20 families in its first month to 120 in November, with 22 already served this month.
