A woman was arrested after police say she drove out of a parking lot without headlights and T-boned another vehicle.
Shelly A. Kenyon, 58, of Romulus, was taken into custody around 5:12 p.m. on Saturday following a property damage crash, according to Waterloo Police. Investigators say she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and caused the collision.
Officers say Kenyon was driving drunk with a blood alcohol content of 0.19%. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI for a BAC over 0.18%, and having an open container in the car.
Police released her on an appearance ticket. She’s scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
