Auburn senior Ryan Maher capped his high school cross country career Saturday by competing at the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Oregon, according to Syracuse.com.
Maher placed 128th out of 201 runners with a time of 16:40.4. The national title went to Jackson Spencer of Utah, who finished in 15:01.1.
The race marked a strong finish to Maher’s standout senior season.
