Quinnipiac was powered by a dominant perimeter showing, led by Jackie Grisdale’s 25 points on 7-of-10 3-point shooting. Ella O’Donnell added 19 points and six rebounds, and Sydney Ryan posted 11 points and six boards. The Bobcats finished 11-for-21 from deep and shot 45.2 percent overall.

Cornell was paced by junior Rachel Kaus, who scored 14 points on efficient shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Clarke Jackson added eight points, while Paige Engels and Kelsey Langston combined for seven rebounds and seven assists. Freshman Ashley Childers provided five points off the bench, including her first collegiate 3-pointer.

The Big Red struggled to find an offensive rhythm, shooting 29.6 percent from the floor and 4-for-19 from behind the arc. Despite grabbing 12 offensive rebounds, Cornell could not convert enough second-chance opportunities, and Quinnipiac capitalized on turnovers with 20 points off Cornell’s 10 giveaways.

Quinnipiac jumped out quickly and used a 10-0 first-quarter run to gain early control. Cornell battled back to make it a five-point game after one, but the Bobcats’ perimeter surge in the second quarter pushed the deficit to 18 at halftime. Cornell briefly cut the margin to 12 early in the third before Quinnipiac reasserted control and maintained a comfortable lead throughout the fourth.
