Watkins Glen and Odessa-Montour high school seniors were named Students of the Month for December by the Watkins-Montour Rotary Club.
Zade Gomez Fitzsimmons was praised for her leadership on the School Board, volunteer work with Seneca Santa and the food pantry, and her return to varsity sports after an ACL injury. She hopes to become a high school science teacher.
Kyler Eriksen was recognized for his roles in swimming, track, student council, and theater support. A swim coach and lifeguard, he plans to study Early Childhood Education with a focus on school leadership.
