Speeding stop leads to DWI arrest in Palmyra

A late-night traffic stop in Palmyra led deputies to arrest a woman for driving while intoxicated.

Deputies say Erin Siler, 43, of Arcadia, was pulled over after allegedly driving 79 mph in a 55 zone on Dec. 2. During the stop, officers determined she had been driving drunk.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Siler took a chemical test after her arrest and had a blood alcohol content of 0.13%. She also faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree.

She was released with appearance tickets for Palmyra Town Court.
