A traffic stop in Seneca Falls early Friday led to the arrest of a Clyde woman on multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated.
Police say they stopped 40-year-old Beverly C. Smith on State Route 5 just after 1 a.m. on November 29.
During the stop, officers determined Smith was intoxicated. She was charged with DWI, DWI with a BAC of .08% or higher, speeding, operating without insurance, and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
Smith was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
