A criminal summons was issued to a local man after he allegedly threatened another resident without cause.
Danny L. Ribble Jr., 30, is charged with second-degree harassment. Police say the incident happened on November 20. Ribble allegedly made verbal threats that caused the victim to feel alarmed.
The complaint led officers to request a summons from the court. Ribble was served and is due in Penn Yan Village Court.
Police say there was no legitimate reason for the threats, and the situation did not escalate physically.
