The Finger Lakes Camerata, a chamber chorus based at Finger Lakes Community College, will usher in the holiday season with two free public concerts during the first weekend of December.
The first performance will take place on Friday, December 5 at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Geneva, located at 24 Park Place. The second concert will follow on Saturday, December 6 at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 58 N. Main St., Canandaigua.
Under the direction of Anthony D’Agostino, the Camerata will present a program titled “Love Came Down at Christmas.” The seasonal setlist includes beloved classics such as “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “The First Noel,” as well as the medieval carol “Personent Hodie.” Audiences will also enjoy contemporary arrangements by composers including Ola Gjeilo, Ken Stevens, John Rutter, and Dan Forrest.
Both performances are free and open to the public.
