A teenager faces charges after a late-night dispute in Waterloo ended with a 16-year-old getting punched and hit with a garden ornament.
Hailey G. Weezorak, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested just before midnight on Nov. 21, according to the Waterloo Police Department. Officers say she’s charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree aggravated harassment.
Police say the incident began as a dispute between Weezorak and the 16-year-old victim. During the altercation, Weezorak allegedly punched the teen in the face, then threw a garden ornament that struck the victim in the head. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Weezorak was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
