Deputies arrested a Rochester man Thursday after a purse snatching incident at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack in Farmington.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say Duane C. Adams III, 22, was taken into custody just before 2:30 p.m. He was arrested at the Rochester Parole Office on South Avenue and is facing multiple charges, including grand larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of stolen property.
Investigators say the arrest stems from a reported theft at the gaming facility on State Route 96. Adams was brought to the Ontario County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
The case remains under investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
