Ravines Wine Cellars is putting the Finger Lakes back in the spotlight with a major national honor.
Wine Spectator named the winery’s 2022 Dry Riesling to its prestigious Top 100 Wines of 2025 list, highlighting it as one of the most exciting bottles of the year.
The list, compiled from over 10,000 wines reviewed in blind tastings, celebrates wines that deliver exceptional quality, value, and a compelling story. Ravines’ recognition places the Finger Lakes alongside top producers from Bordeaux, Sonoma, Tuscany, and more.
This year’s list was led by Château Giscours Margaux 2022 from Bordeaux, which earned Wine of the Year. But the inclusion of Ravines’ riesling signals continued national recognition for New York’s wine region, known for its cool-climate varietals and growing reputation among sommeliers and collectors alike.
Wine Spectator Executive Editor Jeffery Lindenmuth said the 2025 list reflects “resilience, commitment, and long-term vision” in a challenging year for winemakers around the world.
