A Bristol woman was arrested early Thursday morning after crashing her car into a tree and later testing positive for cocaine residue.
Deputies say 21-year-old Molly M. Standish was intoxicated when she crashed a 2024 Mitsubishi along State Route 64 South just after midnight.
Standish reportedly left the scene but returned a short time later with a sober driver. Deputies took her into custody for DWI and found a small plastic bag with a white powdery residue during a search. The substance later tested positive for cocaine.
Standish was not injured in the crash. The Bristol Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad responded to the scene.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Standish is scheduled to appear in Bristol Town Court at a later date.
