Penn Yan Police arrested a 27-year-old Phelps man last month on a warrant out of Pennsylvania.
Jacob Joseph Diehm was taken into custody on Oct. 27 around 9:35 a.m. and arraigned in Yates County Court as a fugitive from justice. Authorities say Diehm was wanted in Gettysburg, PA, on charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and operating an unregistered vehicle.
Following his arraignment, the court remanded Diehm to the Yates County Jail on $150 cash bail. He was also ordered to turn himself in to the Pennsylvania State Police and return to court in Yates County at a later date with proof of compliance.
The arrest was handled by Investigator Wayne Marsh, with supervision by Officer Hamm.
