LP Building Solutions is growing its Bath, NY facility just two years after opening, The Corning Leader reports. The plant, which pre-finishes siding for homes, now employs 75 people and recently marked 145,000 injury-free work hours.
The company is adding paved storage and infrastructure to boost inventory capacity and speed up delivery. Siding sales rose 5% in Q3, adding $22 million in revenue. LP also sponsored a race at Watkins Glen to boost its brand locally, involving Bath staff in the event.
The Bath site plays a key role in delivering LP’s SmartSide products across the region.
