A months-long narcotics investigation in Lyons led to the arrest of a 71-year-old man now facing multiple felony drug charges.
Albert Webber was arrested on a grand jury indictment warrant after investigators say they found evidence of drug possession and paraphernalia at his Canal Street home.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Webber is charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and five counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Deputies executed search warrants at his home in both February and October as part of the ongoing investigation.
Webber was arraigned in Wayne County Court on November 3 and sent to the Wayne County Jail.
Several agencies assisted with the investigation, including the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Geneva Police, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police.
