Police arrested three men in Steuben County after a parole compliance check turned hostile on Halloween.
State Parole officers were conducting a routine visit at a home on County Route 4 in Campbell when individuals at the property became increasingly aggressive, according to New York State Police. The officers backed off and reported the threat.
Investigators returned the next day and arrested two men who refused to follow commands during the response. A third suspect was later charged as the investigation unfolded.
- Percy W. Shaw, 74, is charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony.
- Neil D. Shaw, 51, faces charges including menacing a police officer, weapon possession, and obstruction.
- Mark D. Shaw, also 51, faces the same charges as Neil, plus resisting arrest.
All three were processed at the Painted Post station and sent to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
