A pickup truck rear-ended a DOT attenuator truck during highway repairs in Afton Monday morning, sending two people to the hospital, according to WICZ.
The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. on eastbound I-88, where a seven-person DOT crew was fixing potholes. Police say the pickup struck the second attenuator truck stationed with the workers in the right lane.
Both the pickup driver and the truck operator were treated at Wilson Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
