A Genoa teen has been charged with vandalism after deputies say he threw eggs at vehicles outside the Fingerlakes Mall earlier this month.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old John M. Kreydatus was arrested October 30 and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal tampering, a misdemeanor.
Deputies were called to the mall on Clark Street Road around 1:18 a.m. on October 12 for reports of a vehicle driving around and throwing eggs at parked cars. Investigators say Kreydatus was identified as the person responsible and later turned himself in at the Public Safety Building.
He’s scheduled to appear in Aurelius Town Court for arraignment on November 12 at 7 p.m.
