A group in Seneca Falls is calling on residents to help tackle local poverty, one conversation at a time.
The Seneca County Ecumenical Outreach Forum (SCEOF) meets every third Thursday to share ideas, resources, and solutions for helping neighbors in need — and they want more people at the table.
The group has focused heavily on food aid and affordable housing but says it’s open to fresh ideas. “The need continues to grow,” organizers said in a recent announcement.
Meetings take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Seneca Falls United Methodist Church, at the corner of Chapel and State streets. The next one is set for Nov. 20.
