The nationally ranked Finger Lakes Community College men’s soccer team (15–1–1, 6–0) will open postseason play Tuesday in the Region III Semifinal, hosting the winner of Saturday’s Onondaga–Hudson Valley matchup in Syracuse.
The Lakers enter the playoffs unbeaten in their last 12 matches, with their only setbacks coming in a 3-1 loss to Division I Monroe CC and a 2-2 draw with Jamestown. One of the most dominant offenses in NJCAA Division III, FLCC leads the nation in goals (100), assists (72), shutouts (11), and home attendance.

Forward Robin Giesing (Essen, Germany) headlines the attack with a national-best 28 goals and 63 points. Daniel Ojedayo (13 goals) and Finn Atkinson (9 goals, 12 assists) add scoring depth, while Germán Guzzi and Bautista Suarez have combined for 15 more goals. In goal, Joshua Koobs, Harry Eastwick, and Matt Walton have shared 11 shutouts.
FLCC holds the top seed in both Region III and the Mid-State Athletic Conference as it looks to defend its regional crown and earn a berth in the NJCAA North A District Championship at Genesee CC on November 1.
