Five suspects charged in the torture and killing of Sam Nordquist, a transgender man from Minnesota, were ordered to provide DNA samples in court this week, according to WHAM.
Prosecutors say the swabs could connect the accused to physical evidence from the Yates County crime scene, where Nordquist’s body was found in February. He had been missing since arriving in the Finger Lakes last fall.
Two other suspects were swabbed earlier this month. It’s still unknown if all seven will face trial together.
