Driver hospitalized after head-on crash in Bloomfield

A Newark woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a head-on crash in the Town of Bloomfield.

Deputies say the crash happened just before 9 a.m. on County Road 30, when 42-year-old Ashley Revoir crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The other driver, 32-year-old Chelsea Martino of Naples, was found to be operating with a suspended license. She was cited for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree.

Revoir was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and a portion of County Road 30 was temporarily shut down during the investigation.

East Bloomfield firefighters assisted at the scene. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
