A driver with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit was arrested after a late-night stop.
Police say Josias Xolominquiz, 39, of Penn Yan, was pulled over on Lake Street just after midnight on Oct. 13. Officers noticed he wasn’t keeping right and initiated a stop.
Xolominquiz showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, police said. At the Yates County Jail, a breath test showed his BAC at 0.28%. He now faces several charges, including felony DWI, felony aggravated DWI, and other traffic violations.
He was taken to the Yates County Jail for centralized arraignment.
