Live music, local brews, and a brand-new kids’ zone brought a big crowd to this year’s Membership Harvest Celebration in Penn Yan.
Hosted by the Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce on September 25, the annual fundraiser took place at Climbing Bines Hop Farm & Brewery for the first time — a change that drew record attendance from across the region.
The three-hour event featured a fresh harvest menu from True Roots Catering, live tunes by Brent Bond, and the return of the Harvest Raffle and Silent Auction — both of which hit new fundraising highs.
To make the event more family-friendly, the Chamber added the “Kids Corral,” a supervised activity area run by the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva. Kids could paint pumpkins, decorate cookies, and play while parents mingled and relaxed nearby.
“Thank you to everyone who came together to make this event possible,” said Miranda Odell, Chamber President. “It continues to grow and is now not only fun for the adults but also for the kids.”
The Chamber also thanked its long list of sponsors, volunteers, and hosts Bri and Chris Hansen of Climbing Bines for helping the event succeed in its new setting.
